MBLC ADULT WEEKDAY SERVICES
MBLC provides services that maximize independence and the well-being of developmentally-delayed and senior adults in our community. Our areas of service include:
HEALTH CARE – NURSING
Registered Nurses – (RNs)
Registered nurses (RNs) monitor and coordinate patient care and educate patients and family on various health conditions. They assist with care plans, doctor’s orders, and ensure the CMA’s and CNA’s are following all guidelines and following through on complete patient care.
Certified Medical Assistants – (CMAs)
Certified medical assistants (CMAs), perform vital, daily healthcare tasks such as medication administration, taking vital signs, testing blood sugar, and providing personal care of patients.
Certified Nursing Assistants – (CNAs)
Certified nursing assistants (CNAs) work directly with patients and nurses. They help with the many physical and complex tasks for patient care as well as assist with personal care such as bathing, changing, and feeding to name a few.
NUTRITION – SOCIALIZATION
Nutrition and socialization can prevent re-hospitalizations and can even delay admission to residential long term care.
We serve healthy snacks and two well-balanced and nutritional meals each day.
We provide activities to assist in strengthening the physical, mental, and social well being of each of our participants.
TRANSPORTATION
We provide and coordinate transportation through our Metro Access Transportation program.
The fleet includes five ambulatory and wheelchair accessible vans.
